Screenplay Coverage
Working with a professional reader as early in the process as possible is like working with a development executive. A reader knows story structure, character development, and should know the types of projects that various studios are in the market for. If you get a reader involved as early as the treatment or outline, and allow the reader to assist you through basic studio coverage and expanded studio notes, you add a valuable weapon into your arsenal.

A reader can also be just as valuable to someone who is struggling along with several drafts already written by offering the fresh perspective of someone seeing it for the first time.

Wherever you are in your process, I have a level of coverage that can elevate the quality of your script and help make you a better writer.

Outline Coverage

Outline coverage includes:
Grade page
1 page of notes explaining the grades on the first page
$75. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $10 for 48 hour rush and $25 for 24 hour rush.
Submit Outline in .pdf format unless prior arrangements are made.
Follow up Web conferences are available for $30/half hour with a 30-minute minimum.

Treatment Coverage

Treatment coverage includes:
Grade page

$150. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $10 for 48 hour rush and $25 for 24 hour rush.

Basic Studio Coverage

Basic Studio Coverage includes:

3 page synopsis of the script
1 page of notes explaining the grades on the first page

$200 up to 130 pages; $1 for each additional page; $150 for coverage of rewrites after first round of coverage.

Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $25 for 48 hour rush and $50 for 24 hour rush.

Submit Screenplay in .pdf format unless prior arrangements are made.

Follow up Web conferences are available for $30/half hour with a 30-minute minimum.

Intermediate Studio Notes

Intermediate Studio Notes include:
Grade page
4-5 pages of notes on the premise, storyline, characters, and dialogue, as well as the overall structure of the script
Recommendations for improvement, if applicable

$250 for scripts up to 130 pages; $1 for each additional page. Coverage is delivered in 72 hours. Add $25 for 48 hour rush and $50 for 24 hour rush.

Script Doctor Service

Script Doctor Service includes:
Grade page
The script is read twice and meticulously broken down scene by scene.
15-30 pages of detailed notes on the theme, premise, storyline, characters, and dialogue, as well as the overall structure of the script and its marketability and commercial potential.
Recommendations for improvement

$2,000 for all scripts. A minimum of one week is required for Script Doctor Service delivery, but 10 days to 2 weeks is sometimes necessary. No rush service available.
